On Sunday, 27th August the Vertical Scoggione with the 27th edition of the Feast of Scoggione Refuge takes place in Alpe Scoggione, with the possibility to have lunch at the refuge.
The Vertical Scoggione consists of a non-competitive running race, only ascent, with a difference in height of 850 m and a distance of 3,8 km. Then, there will be prizes for each category and a € 100 gift card at Sport Specialist for the one who breaks the male (31' 58'') and female (40' 10'') record.
At the end of the race the feast of the refuge will take place (holy mass followed by lunch).
Programme:
- at 7.45am:registrations and bipsand pick-up;
- at 8.45am: closing of the registrations;
- at 9am: Race start;
- at 12.30pm: Lunch based on Polenta Taragna, sausages, meat skewer and Gnocchetti Chiavennaschi;
- at 2.30pm: award ceremony.

Registration fee: € 15,00 (race pack with food products and T-shirt included).
Race pack is guaranteed to the first 250 registered.

A helicopter transport service is also available for those wishing to attend the feast of the refuge: outward journey from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., return from 3.30 p.m. Cost: € 50.00 each way.
