Also this year, the Triathlon Alto Lario association is proposing the Fourth edition of the TivanTri Sprint triathlon in Upper Lake Como on Sunday, 25th August. The event will offer athletes a unique mix of muscular performance and technique in a location with a beautiful panorama.
The race course is a Sprint distance triathlon made up of a swimming portion (750 metres), a bike ride (20 km) and a flat run (5 km).
The swimming test will be held in the body of water in the bay of Gravedona ed Uniti, followed by the technical and panoramic route of the bike section which will take the athletes to the villages of Dongo, Stazzona, Garzeno and Catasco. To conclude, the run will be held on the lakefront of Gravedona.
Programme:
- 8 a.m.: Athletes' Welcoming - Upon arrival by car in Via Roma, volunteers and signposts will indicate the adjacent car parks reserved for Participants;
- 8 a.m.-10.45 a.m.: Opening of the Race Office at the Multifunctional Centre in Via Roma (Campo Sportivo), where officials will welcome the Athletes and deliver the race package;
- 8.30 a.m.-10.45 a.m.: Opening of Bike Depot Gate at Trieste Square;
- 10.45 am: Preparations for the start;
- 10.50 a.m.: In Piazza Trieste, start of the female athletes;
- 11.00 a.m.: In Piazza Trieste departure of the male athletes;
- 1.30 p.m.: Prize-giving ceremony;
- 1.45 p.m.: Pasta Party at "Center Bar" (in case of bad weather at the Multifunctional Centre);
- 2.30 p.m.: End of the event.
