On Sunday, September 29th, from 9 a.m., there will be in Colico a Bike Day.
An experience that combines the love of cycling with the beauty of the surrounding landscape. During the event, cyclists of all ages and skill levels will gather to explore the scenic roads of the area in the company of friends, family and other cycling enthusiasts. It will be an opportunity to stay in contact with nature, breathe fresh air and enjoy the freedom and fun that only a ride in good company can offer.
Programme:
- From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: registrations and choice of the routes.
- From 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.: mini circuits and skill tests for children - routes for everyone from simple to challenging for normal bikes and e-bikes.
- From 12 a.m. to 2 p.m.: lunch at PalaLegnone.
- From 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.: mini circuits and skill tests for children - routes for everyone from simple to challenging for normal bikes and e-bikes.
Available routes:
- Green/ difficult path: a challenging route that faces dirt roads and trails will take us over the villages passing by the Fontanedo Tower and the church of San Rocco and then down to the Bay of Piona. Recommended for experienced cyclists with excellent training and driving technique, preferably MTB with pedal assistance given the steep slope of the uphill sections (20km x 600m D+).
- Blue/ medium path: a low-difficulty route that climbs on paved and little-trafficked roads will lead us into the high area of the hamlets from which you can enjoy the wonderful view of the lake on the Bay of Colico and Piona and the fortifications of Montecchio and Fuentes. Suitable for those with a minimum training base and any bike (12km x 300m D+).
- Red and fuchsia/ easy path: two simple, flat routes that through the bike trail will immerse us in the relaxing atmosphere of the lake and the river Adda. Suitable for the whole family. (2 routes of 6km x 0 D+).
The driving staff will be free to change the route and duration of the routes as required.
