Are you ready for the Lake Como Wine Festival "Colico in Cantina"? It's a Food and Wine tour that will be held in 15 wine cellars in the historical hamlet of Villatico (Colico). The festival will take place on Saturday 15th, Friday 21st and Suturday 22nd June.
Opening hours:
There will be two different tours: the "Local" tour with tasting of wine and local food and the "Italia" tour with tasting of wine and Italian food.
In every cellar you will find music and entertainment.
The 15th cellar is located in an impressive old mill. There you can have a wine tasting by sommeliers (additional charge).
Regulations
You need a pass to enter in the cellars. You can buy the pass during the festival from 5 pm at the ticket office located in the Church square in Villatico. The pass costs € 15,00 and is valid for the wine tasting in 7 cellars. There is a possibility to buy a "companion pass" (no wine tasting), it costs € 7,00.
At the Infopoint Colico you can buy the tickets in advance.
A free shuttle is available from 6 pm to 12 am. The bus leaves from the parking beside the Infopoint (Via Pontile 7, Colico).
On Saturday, 22nd June will take place a relay race 1.3 km x 2 (tot. 2.6 km) through the cellars of Colico. Cost: € 10.00 per person (registration + t-shirt). Registrations will open at 5 pm while the start of the race is set at 6 pm at the Church square. At 7.30 pm will be held the awards ceremony.
