The beach owes its name not to tales of magic and spells but to a man known as the “mago della salsiccia” (sausage magician). He used to grilled meat that was so delicious that he has been remembered by the inhabitants of Colico.
The beach is nestled in a small bay of the Piona Lake. This lake is located between the headlands of Olgiasca and Montecchio South, beyond which you can admire the lakeshore and peaks of Gravedona ed Uniti.
