Wild beach is a strip of land between the mouth of the river Adda and the hill of Montecchio Nord. It can be reached from L'Ontano Beach, by following the «Sentiero Valtellina»: a cycle/pedestrian path in the unspoilt countryside between Colico and Bormio. After 400 meters, having crossed a wooden bridge turn left. There are no facilities on the beach, and it is ideal for visitors accompanied by their 4-legged friends, who can freely play and run about in this rural area.
To ensure peaceful respectful co-existence with other visitors, dogs must be registered with the appropriate authority, wear a collar with have an identification tag. They must be in good health, docile and not on heat. In addition the dog’s excrement must be removed by its owner. It is permitted for dogs to swim in the lake.
