Cristina Papini began studying the violin at the age of 5. She continued her studies at the L. Boccherini Institute in Lucca where she obtained a diploma with summa cum laude in 2010. She has then specialized by undertaking master classes with renowned professors. Cristina has won several competitions and prizes such as the “Vittoria alata – Marianna Bottini” prize granted by Fidapa of Lucca. She performs chamber music programs. She also takes part in concerts of the Camerata Strumentale of Prato. In 2014 she attained a second level academic graduation with full marks at the Luigi Boccherini Musical Institute in Lucca and she also obtained another diploma at the Accademia Internazionale of Imola. Since July 2017, Cristina has been violinist in the Guadagnini string Quartet and has also duetted with the pianist Marlene Fuochi. She attends violin master classes at the Santa Cecilia National Accademy in Rome with Maestro Sonig Tchakerian.
Marlene Fuochi began playing the piano at the age of 6. She achieved her Diploma at the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence under the guidance of Stefano Fiuzzi and continued her solo piano studies graduating with full marks and honors. She currently follows chamber music specialization courses with Carlo Fabiano and Matteo Fossi, both at the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome and at the acclaimed Music School of Fiesole. She has participated in numerous master classes and specialization courses at the Chigiana Accademy in Siena. She has received various awards in many piano competitions, always arriving among the first places. She collaborates, among others, with Guido Corti, Paolo Carlini and Ludovica Rana. She devotes herself to piano teaching.
