Immersed in centuries-old chestnut groves and with a wonderful panorama of the lake and the Orobie Alps with majestic Mount Legnone in the foreground, Rifugio Dalco is at a height of 1,000m in the municipality of Montemezzo.
Managed by the Fontana Family for years, the structure brings together the typical friendliness of alpine refuges with a studied cuisine which is rich with local products. The restaurant offers typical dishes of the culinary cuisine of the upper Lario-Valtellina area that are revisited with imagination and originality.
Particular attention is given to vegetarian dishes which are prepared with vegetables grown in the refuge’s garden.
The restaurant is open from April to the beginning of November. The opening days are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On the remaining weekdays it is open by reservation only.
