On Wednesday, 21st July at 8.30 p.m. in the stunning setting of the pier in Corenno Plinio (Dervio) there will be an extraordinary concert by the musical group "Baraccone Express" with its particular setting composed by cymbalon (melodic and rhythmic stringed instrument, typical of North-Eastern Europe), clarinet, trumpet and double-bass. The repertoire is composed of songs set to balkan music, Klezmer and rom. There will also be soundtrack of noted cult movies and pieces of the “swing era” rearranged in a gipsy version.
The band is composed by Paolo Xeres, Luca Radaelli , Edoardo Tomaselli, Stefano Malugani.
The opening of the concert will be performed by Ernesto Pozzi (Sax).
Maximum 100 tickets available. In case of bad weather the concert will be rescheduled for July 22.
A free shuttle bus service is available from Dervio, departing from the square in front of the cemetery from 7.30 p.m.
